  • WELCOME!

    Thanks for stopping by!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, people! Photography is part of my every moment. Since I was a kid I would sit and have memories floating through my head like snap shots. I love to remember every moment! Time is so precious! Photography allows me to stop time and hold onto that memory forever!

"A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety". ~Ansel Adams

If you would have told me…

If you would have told me a few years ago that I would be traveling the world I would have laughed!  I just wouldn’t have believed it.  This is a girl that hopped on a airplane for her first time when she turned 20.  In just a little over a week I will take my daughter to Africa, but I promised I wouldn’t start another trip without sharing my last experience.

The best way I know how to share with you is by photography…because if I tried to explain it this blog might just be 15 pages long…

Most of you followed my experience on FB, but here are a few photographs I took on our trip…

This first photo is of the the 3 Strands factory.
These were just a few of the bracelets the rescued girls were making:) Warmed my heart to see the girls laugh and work together after all they had been through.

If they would have allowed me to bring a child home with me I would have.  I had a hard time wrapping my mind around how hard these kids work at such a young age…this one stole my heart! This is our team at the Rahab center.  Some of the rescued girls lived and worked here.  They now have a safe home to call home while they recover from the trauma of being trafficed.  They are all so happy and the restoration process has begun!

We were able to travel to the word famous temples.  Nothing says Cambodia more than an elephant! This women made me pay a dollar to capture her smile…I gladly paid it because I could see so much history in her face.  I feel like this picture tells a million stories! It was interesting to see so many people selling things wherever you went.  It is just the way of life in Cambodia…The culture of Cambodia is captivating!  I could have sat on a street corner and watched the motos pass one by one for hours!  It was the craziest thing I have ever seen…TukTuks and Motos running all different directions.

Connor and Christina Wedding

I have been waiting to share this sweet wedding with you:) This is the perfect backyard wedding filled with family, friends and so much love!  This is the kinda backyard I dream of having!  A dream backdrop for a wedding.

I met Christina only a few months before her wedding, and I too fell in love!  She was stunning inside and out.  What a caring heart:) I just knew I had to work with her and her fiancé, Connor!  So much love and both of their smiles could light up a room!  One thing that I just love about my job is that I get to know bride and groom’s stories.  They are always unique and very special.  The wedding day is the beginning of a new chapter and I am always honored to be a part of it.  I love that I get to be a story teller through my photography.

Alex and Nicole

Love is in the air!  Loving the month of love!!   Alex and Nicole called a few weeks ago and they are not wasting anytime!  Their amazing wedding is just a few short months away in the spring.  After spending the morning with them I know this wedding day will be special!  Full of love, laughter and charming details.  This couple had so many fun ideas and was willing to do anything!   Looking forward to the incredible spring vintage wedding!

It just takes one to bring awareness to many!!

Never did I see 2014 coming with such a crazy travel schedule.  First I plan on taking my daughter to Kenya in April!!  Now in just 10 days I will find myself across the world in Cambodia.  A little over a week ago I attended Bayside to watch a video that highlighted the injustice that is occurring in Cambodia –children are being sold into sex slavery.  For some reason, young girls lack value in this specific country and in so many other parts of the world.  I have to say that each of these girls reminds me of my amazing daughter with whom I love so dearly.  I as a mommy would lay my life down to protect hers.  It is hard to believe that so many kids do not have the opportunity to be loved or valued.  They see themselves as ugly, wounded, worthless and so many more horrible things.  They are sold to men for weeks at a time and living in brothels all to make money for their family.  It is so hard to wrap your brain around the social injustice.

I left changed after viewing the documentary.  It is funny because I prayed recently that God would create a stirring in my heart to do something outside my self this year, not only with my photography, but for my children, my husband and within my friendships.  I didn’t think He would answer by sending me to Cambodia in less than 10 days, but that is exactly what He did!  I was asked and within 5 hours had a plane ticket!  I think I closed my eyes when I pressed  charge.  I had no idea how I was going to pay for my trip or what I was going to do with my kids…it all just came together.  People offered to help, extra photography business came in, and all without me even asking.  It was clear that I was right where I was asked to be.

So the nerves set in for a minute but then the excitement took over.  As hard as it will be to see what is happening in Cambodia, I am blessed to get to be a voice and through my photography, to put faces to the stories I hear.  Although I am not there primarily as a photographer, I am an artist, and a have always enjoyed documentary photography, I am grateful that I get to go…

I can’t wait to see what God has for me and where this trip will lead the Wibles.  We, as a family will be on this mission trip, I pray my children will be stirred to work hard to change our world.   That they will see how important it is to fight for others when sometimes they can not fight for themselfes.

Thanks for reading along and I will hope to keep you updated on the Journey to Cambodia!!!

Wow!  2013 you were busy, busy, busy!  I am going to spend a few weeks recapping the past year because clearly I am not good at doing it during the year!!

I photographed some incredible weddings last year.  Natasha and Jake — WOW! I have been dying to share this darling couple with you!!  You can see the LOVE they share!!!!  The wedding was simply amazing.  The venue is for sure a new favorite! It was the perfect backdrop to this fairytale wedding.  The sweet details and vintage touches were simply magical.  I love it when I get a couple who just can’t take their eyes off of each other.  Jake had a very hard time looking away, and I am sure you can see why!  Natasha is just stunning!!  Take a look at a their day through my lens.
