    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, people! Photography is part of my every moment. Since I was a kid I would sit and have memories floating through my head like snap shots. I love to remember every moment! Time is so precious! Photography allows me to stop time and hold onto that memory forever!

Lets model!

Who knew one day my kids would go from complaining about being in front of the camera to begging to be in front of it!  I have been so busy with weddings this month that I have hardly had time to do anything else but edit:)

My boys headed out to watch the Oakland A’s…Jaren’s favorite thing to do.  We had a girls night complete with Science Fair project!!  I didn’t expect to do another impromptu shoot…But how could I say no to these cute girls?   Emile never asks for photos.  We put the glue sticks and construction paper down, it was break time.  Britt curled Emilie’s hair and made her camera ready!!  I should hire her for our next family shoot!!

Amazing wildflowers!

The past 5 years my business has grown.  I am so happy with the amazing clients that have been so loyal over the years.  They are loving, caring and just incredible!  Sometimes when life gets busy as a photographer you begin to forget to capture your own memories.  Bringing my camera to baseball games seems like a good idea.   Normally I need to have that break time.  5 years ago I brought it to every occasion, and now I find myself feeling a bit guilty about not having my own memories captured.   I  have decided while my kids are out of school for summer break to capture their moments, tell their stories!  Make them feel as special as I hope I make my clients feel.

A few weeks ago I was out at Folsom Lake and had to capture some memories…the purple flowers are just breath taking!  I had a few special people join me for an on the spot photo shoot…a little of what we captured, check it out!

My intentions were to do this post before mothers day…

These are some amazing kids…with incredible mommy’s!   I love that I get to walk through life encouraged by each of them!  Thanks to all of you mommy’s for taking the long hike to this special spot! 

 

Of course I had to snap a few of Emilie and her friends together…just a few before Emilie had to get out of her skirt and play in the water.

Alex and Kamden Married- Helwig Winery

 

Alex and Kamden are amazing!  I had the opportunity to work with them several times over the past year.  Thich made me feel especially connected to their wedding.  They modeled for one of my workshops last year…came decked out in amazing vintage wardrobe!  Made the shoot super fun!

The wedding was perfect.  Helwig Winery has quickly jumped to a favorite venue of mine!  They have an incredible staff that worked hard to make the day just perfect!

I could photograph Alex and Kamden all day long…they can’t take their eyes off of each other which makes my job very easy!  Thanks Alex and Kamden for allowing me to capture your day.  It was truly a blessing!  It was very hard to pick a few to show!

Amber and Michael

Been waiting so long to share this amazing wedding!  Sorry for the blog absence.   Busy November and December, but I am back in full swing…and have 5 wonderful weddings to blog from the last few months!

 

Amber and Michael picked this incredible location.  The outdoor log cabin feel was the perfect backdrop to the vintage wedding.  Every where I turned… details, details, details!!

Working with Amber this past year has been so fun…she is organized and detail oriented!  Amber and Michael are madly in love…this day was a true reflection of how much they love each other.  A perfect start to the beginning of their lives together.

This wedding is full of special moments…too many to possibly show.   I think Amber has a calling as a wedding planner!  Enjoy this preview, I will be showing more of this wedding so stay tuned.

Brittany and Zach- Bywater Hollow

Brittany and Zach married at Bywater Hollow.   Fantastic day, amazing family.  I just loved watching this family join together and make this wedding happen in 4 days.  That is right I said it…4 days!

The dress was from Ruche, the perfect touch to this quaint vintage wedding.  Simple and timeless!

Queen B vintage rentals had some of her amazing furniture and props to enhance the already charming location!!
