A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. ~Ansel Adams

Sutter Creek Plymouth Wedding

What a wonderful day for Jenna and Curt. The weather was perfect! I have been amazed with my brides and how much fun they are. I can’t believe I get to enjoy myself so much while working. What a great group of people. My team had a blast working with all of your family and friends. I again leave another wedding feeling blessed with a new friendship. Jenna and Curt you are an amazing couple! I loved watching your grandparents dance together and hearing all the people around you so excited to share your love. THANK YOU for having me be a part. Can’t wait to get all your images up, here is a preview.

Venue: Terra Oro Winery in Plymoth

Kristen and Jonathan

What a crazy weekend for this couple.  I have the amazing privilege of flying out to Seattle to shoot Kristen’s and Jonathan’s wedding in September.  I can hardly wait.  I love to travel and do photography!  What a blessing for me.

Kristen and Jonathan were scheduled to get their engagement portraits done this weekend.  They called me on Friday at the very last minute and asked if I could squeeze them in that day.  They had been driving all night from Seattle to Sacramento.  They must have been exhausted!  The reason they were rescheduling was because Jonathan is in the Reserves and was called to active duty.  He only had two days to make travel arrangements and get his life at home in order before leaving for 60 days.  OK…this is the best reschedule excuse I have ever received!!   I, of course, would not say NO!  (It totally tops the “my roots are just too long” excuse last week.)

After they arrived in Sac they quickly got ready and met me downtown for a fast mini engagement shoot.  They work well under pressure –just look at what we captured!   What an amazing couple. I was blessed by their love!  Thanks to Jonathan for helping our country out when we need him!  I know you will be missed so much but America is lucky to have you!

Love that you laugh together!! This is my favorite 🙂 The real emotion!

Flower Farm Wedding- Loomis, Wedding Photography

I always have a blast when I get a bride who is into the pictures…I enjoy my passion even more!  I had the opportunity to work with another photographer last week at the Flower Farm Inn in Loomis.  It is an incredible location and has so many options it is hard to know where to start.  I love weddings and I love what I do.  I am so blessed!
